Harrys of London

Harrys

Since the first London store in South Audley Street in London’s Mayfair opened in 2008, Harrys of London has continued to go from strength to strength. Alongside the Mayfair locale, the brand set up shop in Burlington Arcade in 2010, but has now expanded to the Middle East with one in Dubai, two in Kuwait and a fourth opening in Saudi Arabia at the end of the year.

The idea behind Harrys of London, which is designed by Kevin Martel, is to re-imagine traditional men’s shoe design with the use of technically advanced materials. The creation of the sleek, sporty lines and soles – the popular Downing loafer as well as the unconstructed Basel loafer – have become the iconic designs for Harrys of London. What ultimately sets Harrys of London apart from its competitors, other than the fabulous design of the shoes, is the unique sole which is based on a design used for performance windsurfing shoes and adapted for the wet streets of London.

Harrys of London aim to provide customers with innovative, contemporary footwear with a luxury aesthetic that are defined by exceptional quality, design and functionality. The shoes are made by highly skilled craftsman in Tuscany and Naples, Italy, and use cutting edge technology and ethically sourced materials.

Whether you’re buying for work or for more casual outfits, Harrys of London is a brand that we recommend every gentleman invests in.

Our objective is simple: to produce footwear that feels as good as it looks. We do this by fusing contemporary design and technical innovation with time-tested craftsmanship. Our shoes are made to meet modern-day demands, so comfort and style are always our first considerations.

At the centre of our philosophy and every pair of our shoes is the Technogel 3D insole. Designed and made in collaboration with the ergonomics and shock absorption experts Technogel, the 3D insole is exclusive to Harrys. Constructed from myriad gel-filled capsules that ensure all-round weight distribution and impact relief, it gives a unique, one-of-a-kind fit and ensures that you stay fresh on your feet all day.

Our commitment to comfort and technical innovation is also evident in our sole units and outer materials. The Windsurf sole was created with the leading Italian outsole manufacturers Vibram using materials designed for windsurfing shoes. It gives exceptional flexibility, abrasion resistance, and traction to keep you safe on the wettest city streets.

Equal attention is applied to our outer materials. Acqua suede is rain-resistant and designed to be worn year-round. Tech leather is water and scratch-proof. The satin calf leather that we use for our smart dress shoes stays smart. The deerskin that we use contours to your feet for a truly personal fit. The aesthetic is important, but each of the materials we use also has a practical purpose.

The quality of our materials is also a key factor of our sustainability policy. We are constantly striving to reduce emissions across our operation and supply chain, and the grade of the components we work with means that each pair of Harrys simply lasts longer. This lessens environmental impact as well as giving you further enjoyment and better value.

All of this adds up to an ever-evolving range of footwear that allows you to look the part and feel the difference, wherever you are and whatever you are doing.
