fall/winter 2018 collection
The creative journey by windsor. makes a stop in the Japanese capital city of Tokyo.
A city of superlatives and extremes. Both the contemporary and the traditional are at home here in this densely populated city. The diversity of this city influences the new windsor. fall/winter 2018 season where eccentricity meets tradition. The use of authentic and genuine materials symbolises premium quality with a visionary spirit.
The fall radiates in the colours may green, blush, powder, navy, taupe and ecru while winter season at windsor. is immersed in three different colour schemes. Rice, coal, stone, geisha red, maple leaf and natural rice make a clear statement with patterns like stripes and checks. The simple and clear Japanese silhouette particularly dominates knitted textures and prints. The vision towards the future and the preservation of worthy customs characterises the philosophy of windsor.
The name windsor. came into being – and was here to stay since 1960. The managing partner, Günter Klasing, took over the company and stamped it with his penchant for expensive fabrics from England, announcing the birth of Windsor Kleiderwerk G. Klasing KG. Jackets, trousers and coats became the core of the brand’s range while light fabrics and fine workmanship came to embody the company philosophy, representing a novelty on the market. 1977 was launch of the first windsor. ladies’ collection, which quickly developed into a separate, quality brand setting the very highest standards.
