The spring/summer 2018 collection inspired by beautiful and exciting San Francisco and “Chinatown”, plays with shades of “Porcelain Blue” in the Spring collection, which are complemented by more intensive accents such as “Cobalt Blue” or “Baiwen Red”.
The summer collection also cleverly orchestrates strong colour accents with sophisticated neutrals. We thus see sunny yellow in combination with sandy shades and navy blue. Bougainvillea and flamingo are presented in clean contrast to black while summery lagoon is combined with pure white and avocado for a fresh summer look. “URBAN SAFARI” is to create new looks and thus present the complexity of everyday modern life. The print highlight in this season is a jungle print on pure silk. In addition to the renaissance of tailoring, soft flowing elements take on an important role for dresses and blouses, knits and shirts.
The name windsor. came into being – and was here to stay since 1960. The managing partner, Günter Klasing, took over the company and stamped it with his penchant for expensive fabrics from England, announcing the birth of Windsor Kleiderwerk G. Klasing KG. Jackets, trousers and coats became the core of the brand’s range while light fabrics and fine workmanship came to embody the company philosophy, representing a novelty on the market. 1977 was launch of the first windsor. ladies’ collection, which quickly developed into a separate, quality brand setting the very highest standards.
